Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-26. This policy explains what data SERAPH (seraphgames.com) collects, why, and what rights you have.
1. What we collect
Without an account: technical data needed to serve the site (IP address, browser type, pages visited, approximate country), and anonymous play counts per game.
With an account: your email address, username, and a cryptographically hashed password (we never store your password in readable form). Also the date you accepted our terms.
If you comment: the comment text, its language, and the time it was posted.
2. Why we use it
To run the site and show games; to count how often a game is played so we can rank popular games; to let you log in and post comments; to moderate content and prevent abuse; to display advertising; to meet legal obligations.
3. Legal basis (GDPR / KVKK)
Contract: providing your account and comments. Legitimate interest: security, abuse prevention, basic analytics. Consent: non-essential cookies and personalised advertising. Legal obligation: retention where required by law.
4. Cookies
Essential: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, and a cookie remembering your language choice. These are required for the site to work.
Advertising / analytics: set by our partners only if you consent. You can change or withdraw consent at any time from the cookie banner.
5. Third parties
Game and ad provider: GamePix — games are loaded from their servers and may set their own cookies and show ads inside the game frame.
Infrastructure: Cloudflare (security, delivery) and our hosting provider process technical data such as IP addresses.
Advertising: Google AdSense and its partners may be used; if active, they may use cookies to serve ads. Personalised ads are only used with your consent where required.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention
Account data is kept while your account exists. Comments remain until you or we delete them. Play statistics are aggregated and not tied to your identity. Server logs are kept for a short period for security.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Children
The site is not intended for children under 13, and accounts are not knowingly created for them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are hashed with a strong algorithm, and access to the server is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures.
